Kenora will take you past Coney Island’s public beach, then south on a spectacular circle route of the northern section of famed Lake of the Woods. 807-467-4637Make It, Bake It, Grow It is the motto of the Matiowski Farmers’ Market in the City of Kenora. Every Wednesday from mid-June to early October, the Whitecap Pavilion plays host to just over 100 market vendors selling authentic handmade and homegrown products.

Open: Tuesday to Saturday 10am to 5pmThe Lake of the Woods Museum is a dynamic cultural asset in the City of Kenora. The collection numbers in excess of 25,000 articles and photographs. Many displays are changed annually and feature Indigenous and pioneer artifacts, natural history, minerals, pictorial and archival material, all illustrating the human history of Lake of the Woods and the surrounding area.

The temporary exhibit area is changed five to seven times a year and features travelling, in-house and community exhibits.
